Position: Support Worker

Speciality: Young Adults with Complex Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disabilities and Challenging Behaviours.

Location: Multiple settings located in Rushden, Irchester, Ecton Brook and Great Cransley

Salary: £15,200 - £25,000 pa once permanent. £270 per week whilst temporary.

Holiday: 33 days per annum

Hours of work:

Standard Shift Patterns are:

* 7.15am - 2.30pm / 2.15pm - 9.30pm including alternate weekends.
* 36.5 - 40 hours per week.
* Potential for overtime to increase hours to a maximum of 60 per week.

There is flexibility regarding the start and end times of shifts.

Overview:

The Care Bureau is working in partnership with Alderwood LLA to recruit a Support Worker on a Temp to Perm basis.

Alderwood LLA specialise in working with Young Adults with Complex Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disabilities and Challenging Behaviours.

This position would be well suited to an individual looking for a more challenging role or to enhance their career.

Please note all positions are subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Duties:

* You will be actively involved in the delivery of agreed care and learning plans; this could involve

* A variety of Leisure activities
* Trips out into the community
* Accompaniment to Alderwood holiday locations.
* Domestic and Catering duties.
* Assistance with educational and daily living skills tasks.

* You will be required to regularly maintain the Alderwood system relating to each individual resident in relation to

* Monitoring, recording and assessment reports.
* Residents welfare

Requirements:

Essential:

* Must be a driver and have own transport due to setting locations

Desirable:

* Care experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Alderwood provides round the clock residential care and education for twenty-eight adults in eight separate residential homes. These are supported by the Alderwood Professional Development Centre, which provides continual staff training, staff development and behaviour support surgeries
