As Assistant Business Analyst, you will be responsible for the accurate monitoring and analysis of live hospital data. You will work alongside Informatics, Finance and Contracting teams, supporting the Coding and Analyst Manager to evaluate business activity and business plans. You will develop new ways to analyse data, view company performance and drive improvement.

Key Tasks

Producing reports on multiple areas of the business to support the Analyst and enabling the business to monitor performance and make key business decisions.
Key Areas of reporting include Hospital activity, Referrals, Contracts and Accounts.
Co-ordinate daily/weekly reports produced by the Informatics Team.
Preparation of mandatory KPI reports and CQUINS.
Identify and resolve issues with Data Quality.
Support Coding and Analyst Manager on the implementation and development of NAV.
To provide performance and monitoring reports at agreed intervals to managers and clinicians to enable them to monitor activity and clinical performance.
Populate and maintain Dashboards for routine reports.
Ensure that all statutory reporting and data processing is produced in a timely fashion to an exceptional quality standard.
Salesforce, IMS and MediSoft support to Administration Department.

Skills and Experience

Must Haves:

Excellent analytical and numerical skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, work well under pressure and sure and be able to effectively manage workload
Able to think logically and problem solve
Critical thinking skills – thinking beyond basic reasoning
Specification skills – ability to produce specification documents with the necessary detailed requirements.
Elicitation skills – ability to use data collection techniques in order to gather knowledge or information from people/resources/systems
Flexible approach and able to respond well to changes in daily tasks or business demands
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships at all levels
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey messages in a clear, concise and constructive manner
Excellent Microsoft Office Skills, in particular Excel
Nice To Haves:

Degree (or Equivalent Experience) preferably in a numerical or business discipline
Basic Understanding of Clinical Coding
Experience of CRM (preferably Salesforce)
