More about the role

We are looking for a Senior Merchandiser to join the Supply Chain team.  You will play a key role forecasting and buying in our Supply Chain Process.  The forecasts you will create are crucial to the smooth operation of our business and provide the foundation for key strategic decisions.  You will need to maximise stock, sales and availability across multiple seasonal categories through accurate forecasting and engagement.

Here's what you can expect to be doing

- Manage forecasts for a high number of SKUs across multiple seasonal categories

- Partner closely with the rest of the team to align on forecasts and planned activity

- Chair monthly forecast collaboration meetings with the supplier base

- Meet all forecast deadlines as part of the monthly Demand Planning cycle

- Tracking of category KPIs and updating key stakeholders

- Managing a small team (circa 3 people)

- Experience of working in a similar role

- Amazing attention to detail

- Passion for numbers

- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

- Management experience

- Ability to communicate across all levels internally and externally

- Drive and Determination
