Do you have experience working within a head office retail function? Do you have experience within merchandising? Are you looking for a full-time, permanent role in Swindon, working within a team, liaising with numerous points of contacts internally, externally and internationally based?

I am recruiting for an Assistant Merchandiser to join a business located in Swindon on a permanent basis, working Monday to Friday, paying £22,000. You will work alongside the merchandiser with a variety of tasks, dealing with many departments within the business and external suppliers based in the UK and internationally, whilst retaining the highest customer experience.

Key responsibilities:
*Review re forecasting to look at future demands that are performing well or need to be reworked
*Maximise profits through stock management plans and analysing forecasts
*Ensure stock levels are available to meet demand
*Daily reporting to ensure all forecasting is correct - dealing with any queries in a timely manner, communicating issues to relevant colleagues
*Check catalogue for any discrepancies to resolve promptly
*Work closely with the buying team to keep them informed of any changes to products and suppliers - ensuring supply chain runs as smoothly as possible
*Working to deadlines
*Review weekly trading performance and feedback
*Place orders for new and existing lines - ensuring prompt dispatch within specified time frame
*Cover merchandisers in absence
