Finance Analyst / Supply Chain Analyst / Business Analyst

Role: Finance Analyst - Supply Chain
Hourly Rate: £10.50 - £12.80 per hour (depending on experience)
Type: Temporary Contract
Location, Loughborough, Leicestershire
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Required: Immediate Start

Finance Analyst - Supply Chain

Finance analyst position in the UK's leading multi-channel FMCG wholesaler, reporting to the financial controller with a dotted line into the head of supply chain. This is a hands-on position to work within a internal Finance Team undertaking a fast-paced change agenda.

Key Requirements

* Manage the financial's of the supply chain, explaining variances and trends
* Work closely with the demand & supply manager to monitor and improve forecast accuracy
* Drive improvements in the forecast process
* Identify, pursue and deliver cost saving initiatives throughout the supply chain
* Monitor and report supplier inbound delivery performance and on-shelf stock
* Work with purchasing to on-board suppliers onto EDI trading
* Assist the financial controller with other duties as necessary
* Assist with the month end process
* Assist with training, improvements and reporting improvements for the wider finance team
* Various Financial Project work
* Responsible for the management of forecasting software and systems

Key Skills
The successful Finance Analyst will enjoy challenges and making a difference and being part of a team that delivers significant improvement.
Ideally you will have strong Analysis experience and be CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified.
Client will consider newly or part qualified accountant looking to add for experience in a commercially-focused finance role.
Excellent analytic and systems skills.
You will be have strong at prioritisation and problem solving skills in challenging situations.
Good commercial acumen.
You will need to demonstrate strong analytic skills and good communication skills.
IT: Advanced Excel skills, Cube knowledge - essential.
Previous experience in supply chain finance/FMCG will be an advantage.
