* Dedicated to all aspects of maintenance and repair on a wide range of appliances including commercial boilers/burners, oil, chillers, air conditioning, fire alarm testing, CCTV and electrical inspections
* Operating a mobile team of 120 engineers across the UK

* Leading organisation in M&E Building Maintenance,
* Clients of a blue chip retail nature including hospitals, retail, offices etc

CANDIDATE INFORMATION - Trainee Service Manager - Air Conditioning

· You will support the Operations Manager with the reactive maintenance of air conditioning contracts and assist in the running of the helpdesk team so good leadership skills are essential

· You will be responsible for ensuring reactive air conditioning works are carried out efficiently by the relevant engineers according to SLA agreements

· You will monitor the air conditioning engineers progress and ensure they are reaching set KPI's and SLA's

· Good IT skills would be essential

· You will need experience of working on air conditioning maintenance contracts previously - either within an office environment or as an engineer

· Have a good understanding of Air Conditioning systems

JOB INFORMATION - Trainee Service Manager - Air Conditioning

· You will be responsible for the Southeast region, scheduling the air conditioning engineer's workloads, reviewing time sheets and dealing with any absence issues

· To liaise with clients, ensuring the resolution of any queries or issues relating to air conditioning systems

· Work closely with the air-conditioning engineers ensuring they are fully supported in their role, ordering supplies and assist the Operations Manager in the delivery of the air conditioning contracts

· To ensure all sub-contractors employed meet the required technical and health and safety standards of the company and the client.

· To assume responsibility for the control and liaison of air conditioning subcontractors and own labour.

· To continually monitor own and sub-contractor performance to ensure compliance with client Key Performance Indicators

· To identify efficiencies and cost savings within all contracts, for the benefit of the company and the client

· To ensure that all jobs are completed on a timely basis and to the expected standard

· On completion of jobs, to ensure that all invoices are raised in a timely manner

· To maintain contract records in accordance with internal procedures and customer requirements

· Attend courses and other training events in compliance with statutory requirements.

· To attend courses and training events to promote changes to general and technical work practices.

· To undertake other duties and special projects as required
