And protect Britain.
GCHQ is amongst the world’s foremost intelligence agencies. A centre of excellence, our mission is to use cutting-edge tech to protect Britain from ever-evolving cyber threats. By gathering information and analysing communications, we ensure that IT networks, systems and data are secure across the country. It’s varied and challenging work, as terrorists increasingly target our infrastructure, businesses and our way of life.
As a Junior Support Technician, you’ll fix, enhance and support IT systems - providing remote support for other stations. Part of your role will be to install, upgrade and maintain and wide portfolio of IT-related systems. Using modern technologies, you’ll work with other teams to build new and experimental systems.
To join us, you’ll need a minimum of five GCSEs, grade A-C (including maths and English). Enthusiastic, curious and proactive, you’ll have an interest in tech and be a natural problem-solver. With excellent communication skills, you’ll collaborate with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
