Access Operations Analyst
Starting salary of £17,942
You’ll become a world-class analyst.
And protect Britain.
GCHQ is amongst the world’s foremost intelligence agencies. A centre of excellence, our mission is to use cutting-edge tech to protect Britain from ever-evolving cyber threats. By gathering information and analysing communications, we ensure that IT networks, systems and data are secure across the country. It’s varied and challenging work, as terrorists increasingly target our infrastructure, businesses and our way of life.
During this 18-month development programme, you’ll work as part of a hugely important team. Through world-class in-house training, as well as external training, we’ll equip you with the skills you need for this role. At the end of the programme, you’ll be placed in a team at one of our sites. As an Access Operations Analyst, you’ll retrieve information and provide intelligence data to other analysts. Part of the role will see you working to understand and identify new communications technologies.
To join us, you’ll need a minimum of five GCSEs, grade A-C (including maths and English). Enthusiastic, curious and proactive, you’ll have an interest in tech and be a natural problem-solver. With excellent communication skills, you’ll collaborate with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
