Assistant Manager - Gastro Pub - Gloucestershire

Our Client:

They are a traditional British pub, bed and breakfast tucked away in the small village in the Cotswold countryside. The restaurant and bar serves award winning British cuisine. The team are devoted to creating delicious pub classics and true country fare that gives a respectful nod to the seasons and the local farms and estates that provide our produce.

Package

* Salary: Up to £22,000 - £25,000 per annum
* Tronc
* 28 days holiday per annum
* Possible accommodation can be provided

The role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic assistant manager to join and help lead the friendly team. Ideal candidates will have bags of drive, energy and a passion for looking after guests

Other key characteristics:

* Be reliable, conscientious, punctual and well turned out
* Take pride in what they do and genuinely care
* Lead by example and be proactive and always busy at work
* Have at least 2 years' experience in a busy, high quality full service pub or restaurant, ideally rosette standard
* Be competent behind the bar, have experience in cellar management
* Be a real foodie
* Have great wine knowledge
* Be competent and organised handling functions, bookings, event planning etc
* Cope well under pressure
* Be able to adhere to company standards and procedures
