Are you a recent graduate looking to start your legal career within Property in an established local firm?

I am recruiting for a full time permanent position and this would suit someone who has experience within the Property Sector and who is wishing to progress their career and to grow within a Property team, or a Law graduate who is seeking a position within a legal environment.

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills together with a high level of attention to detail in order to sustain the quality of service they deliver to their clients.

You will need to be self-sufficient in that you will deal with your own typing and secretarial tasks.

The main objectives of the role are:
Managing a full and varied caseload supervised where necessary on technical issues, and working on own initiative
Dealing with routine client enquiries and communications
Managing the collation of matter starts and completion data
Interviewing and advising clients
Explaining legal matters to clients
Correspondence with and on behalf of clients
Collecting information for the preparation of legal documents
Keeping up to date with changing legislation
Financial control with regard to cash flow control through collection of monies on account and billing procedures
Meeting agreed time recording,, billing and recovery of costs targets
To take positive steps to ensure existing clients are aware of the various types of legal work carried out by the firm
Ensuring the client is regularly informed of work in progress and continuing contact is maintained
Exercising high standards of client care in a professional and pleasant manner at all times

The hours for this role are 9am - 5.15pm Monday - Friday and along with a competitive salary the firm offer a comprehensive range of benefits.
