My client, an independent Travel Management Company based in Central London are seeking a Team Leader for their After Hours Business Travel Homeworker Team!

THE JOB:
As the Team Leader of the Out of Hours Business Travel Team, you will be the first point of contact for all out of hour's homeworking team as well as having a hands on approach.

You will also be responsible for handling some of the calls coming through from a range of corporate account clients who need emergency assistance with travel arrangements beyond the normal office opening hours.

Duties will include:
*Managing the team rota effectively in line with business requirements including peak hours, breaks and holiday cover.
*Providing operational 'problem solving' support to after hours employees on shift.
*Ensure all company admin concerning bookings and clients is fully actioned quickly, accurately and efficiently.
*Analyse data to determine operational effectiveness and areas for improvement.
*Alongside the operations manager setting KPI targets for individuals and completing monthly and quarterly reviews.
*Handling client travel requests via telephone, email and booking tools.
*Sourcing the most cost effective routes of transport including Flights, Hotels, and Rail & Ground Arrangements.
*Using the GDS system Amadeus to search and book.
*Quote, book, issue tickets and reissue tickets for all fares worldwide.
*Managing queues and issuing tickets prior to deadlines
*Handling schedule changes from airlines
*Proactively maintaining client relationships and providing a top level service.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The After Hours Team Leader should have full experience of the following:
*Using the GDS Amadeus to source and book flights and hotels.
*Previous experience of working within a Travel Management Company within a supervisory / team leading capacity.
*Offering exceptional customer service.
*Advanced fares and ticketing knowledge including manual fares creation.
*Knowledge of handling BSP issues, re-issues, refunds etc.
*Exceptional customer service skills
*My client is also open to receiving applications from experienced leisure travel consultants with knowledge of fares and GDS.
*Full flexibility to work between the hours of 5.30pm to 9.00am midweek and days or nights at weekends on a shift rota basis.

THE PACKAGE:
The salary range for this After Hours Team Leader role is £32,000 - £35,000 per annum
plus an array of employee benefits plus the bonus of working from home.
