We have a great opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic and experienced multi site catering manager to be responsible for all aspects of managing the high level of delivery and expectations within the East London University with the assistance of an experienced and motivated team.   You should be ambitious and commercially aware, with the presence and personality to influence the day-to-day business, you'll maximise the performance of your team. Leading by example and setting high standards, you'll enhance sales and provide our customers with great service.

Package description

£28000 to £30000  depending on experience

Mon - Fri, 40 hour per week , occasional weekend

Main responsibilities

To lead the core catering establishment within University of East London

  • Managing a team of up to 25 staff and reporting to the contracts director
  • Responsible for all the financial aspects of the business
  • Overseeing various satellite site within the college
  • Training, keeping all personal/training files up to date
  • Motivating staff and getting the best out of your team
  • Build an excellent relationship with the client
  • Adhering the H&S regulations
  • Will also be responsible for the hospitality side of the business
  • Ensure all customer requirements are delivered in line with the expectation
Ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Will need experience managing a large multi site establishment
  • Experience in managing  a multi site business, preferably from an education sector
  • Sound knowledge of Hygiene, Health and Safety
  • Standards and quality driven management style
  • Motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery
  • Interpersonal, administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent understanding of P&L accounts
  • Good management skills
  • Financial and commercial acumen
  • A 'Can do' attitude
