Unum is currently looking to employ an ambitious and driven Business Development Consultant with Financial Services background to join our fun team based in Central London! This role became available due to progression of our colleague. It’s permanent and full time.

What’s the purpose of the role?
Working as a Business Development Consultant you will be responsible for developing strong new group business by generating leads and quotes through significant investment in relationship building with Brokers/ Intermediaries so previous experience working in similar role is required.  

What will you be doing?

  • Working towards set targets
  • Identifying, developing and closing sales
  • Understating the brokers and decision making of the accounts as well as developing long term effective relationship
  • build account development strategies and plans
  • Maintain a high awareness and knowledge of the market industry, competitors market trends and internal activities to ensure that all business opportunities are identified, considered and implemented

    Salary: £35,000-£40,000 (OTE £70-75k)+ car allowance; 36.25 hours per week; 27 days holiday, pension, life insurance, critical illness, dental cover, season ticket loan, cycle to work scheme, gym membership contribution, eye care test and much more!
