We now have an exciting opportunity within our Central Export department for a motivated and driven Sales Executive to support in the growth of sales within this area.

This is a fantastic and rare opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career with a company that is willing to provide structured development working alongside some of the most experienced individuals within the industry. You will develop and take on further responsibilities over time, gaining fantastic exposure with opportunities to travel around the world to exhibitions and events in countries such as Dubai and Shanghai.

Key responsibilities of this role will, amongst others, be to:

  • Develop an understanding of the day to day export operations at the designated depot with supervision of senior team members
  • Successfully manage and service current customers while developing new trade
  • Ensure planned department marketing is effective and to improve and develop new business opportunities
  • Investigate low and nil spend customers and address the relevant action necessary
  • Build sales from managing existing customers and increase the development of sales from new customers

To take on this exciting opportunity you’ll be somebody who can work well under pressure, have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload, combined with good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages; especially Excel and Word. You should be willing to learn new skills with a passion for self-development.

You’ll be a confident individual who can build successful relationships and you’ll ideally have experience gained within a retailor wholesale/FMCG background in either an office or sales related position.  You should have good written and verbal English skills, the ability to speak any other additional languages would be a distinct advantage in this role.

Please note this role is not a field based sales role, the position will be based within the export offices at our Head Office in Abbey Road (NW10 7BW). The role will convey much of its business via the telephone.
