Fantastic opportunity to join our client, who is a large hotel. They are open all year around and lean towards business clientele. They are looking for a strong Sous Chef to join the team and support and cover for the Head Chef of their busy fresh food restaurant. As Sous Chef you will be working 5/7 days hours to the business needs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Sous Chef

*To ensure the food preparation and presentation meets the required standards. All food is prepared
from fresh local ingredients including sauces and bread.
*To keep all working areas clean and tidy
*To supervise and motivate the team when required and support the Head Chef
*To comply with hotel's health and safety and food safety legislations
*To monitor portion control, fresh food and dry store orders

What You Need To Be a Successful Sous Chef

*NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications are required
*Excellent communication skills
*Ability to work well under pressure
*Previous experience in a similar role
