We are pleased to offer you an exciting opportunity to support a multi-agency Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) by working with the Strategic Partnerships Officer and Strategic Partnerships Manager.
The role is based in a small and newly established team which drive the development and management of the LSCB’s performance framework and processes to ensure the LSCB are informed and can challenge partnership performance, by analysing data, making recommendations to the LSCB and implementing the resulting actions.

You will be responsible for collecting, collating, maintaining, analysing and reporting on data sets to identify and monitor performance outcomes in relation to organisation LSCB.
You will contribute to ensuring that the LSCB meets all its statutory, partnership and information reporting requirements, including quality and audit standards. You will compile reports to meet local and national reporting requirements in relation to organisation LSCB.

You will be Educated to at least degree level (preferably involving numeracy and or/data) level or equivalent experience.
A knowledge and understanding of the major factors, influences and challenges facing LSCBs essential.
A knowledge of local government decision making essential.
Detailed knowledge and understanding of the statutory safeguarding responsibilities of local authorities, statutory agencies and broader partner organisations essential.
An understanding of detailed statutory responsibilities and functions of the LSCB is also required. An advanced knowledge of legislation and guidance in safeguarding children essential. An understanding of safeguarding requirements within the wider context of improving outcomes for children and families and communities. Previous experience of working in a multi-agency environments and providing support to partnership arrangements.

This role requires candidate to hold an Enhanced current DBS.
