A rare and outstanding opportunity has arisen to join a leading global brand in the role of PR & Communications Specialist.

Primary Responsibilities:
-Need 3-5 years PR experience - prefer in-house but will also consider agency, Sr. Account executive; need to have experience with corporate clients
-Tons of negative press in the UK - this person will be liaison with legal and customer service and crafting responses
-Managing the day to day of the PR agency that TA uses, creating content, timelines, making sure all content is set for the SEO team

-Someone who is quick on their feet, but exercises really good judgement (understanding that some negative/bad things can happen to customers and how to respond in the best way possible)
-Hyper organized and hyper diligent
-Need to be able to make decisions quickly

Your responsibilities:
*Generate traffic-driving media coverage for the organisation across the UK
*Manage the day-to-day relationship with a UK-based PR agency to ensure it delivers strong and widespread media coverage
*Measure content and media relations performance
*Support the Director of Communications in responding to media issues
*Contribute ideas for and create SEO and social media content

What We Seek
We're seeking an experienced and enthusiastic communications professional who has the capability and confidence to plan and implement far-reaching communications campaigns. TripAdvisor is a fast-paced environment so the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines is crucial.
*Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills
*Excellent media contacts
*3+ years PR and/or communications experience in either an agency or in house role
*Excellent project management skills
*Solid judgement and decision making in a fast moving environment
*Teamwork skills essential
*Keen interest in travel - understanding of the travel/hospitality industry and business models would be a plus
*Highly self-motivated
