Are you looking for a role within a busy and dynamic department? The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the buyers are assisted with all aspects of their roles. This will entail assisting with sourcing, pricing, manufacturing, testing, compliance and project management end to end.

Key Responsibilities

• Supports buying team with vendors to source new and innovative products and fabrics while following brand guidelines
• Assist in managing product assortments to suit relevant markets providing rationale for product selection and appropriate item documents for client presentations
• Works with suppliers on pricing negotiation, lead-time, and product validity for the term of any assigned program, initially in an assisting capacity
• Support the team liaising with suppliers on production of items and where necessary put corrective action in place
• Assisting with Quality Control and Logistics (importing, customs) and liaises with in house logistics
• Works in accordance with ethical sourcing policies and keeps up-to-date with new and developing international sourcing organizations
• Manages the receipt, review, approval of samples, ensuring all items meet with Company quality assurance standards
• Supports the team with margin management to recommend selling prices for assigned projects, product / production recommendations in order to fit into budget and/or other client requirements and alternative sourcing when appropriate
• Arrange factory inspections and manage inspection calendar
• Arrange samples and track all sample movement from around the globe
• Supports new business teams with the development of existing client bases
