Euro Demolition & Dismantling Ltd are looking for an experienced health and safety manager. You must be experienced within the demolition industry and be adept at writing method statements / risk assessments.

This position is site based, to assist the Project Manager on a large site in London where there are several work disciplines going on at any one time. Subcontractors etc.

YOU MUST HAVE THE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE AS DETAILED BELOW TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:

• Do you have NEBOSH / IOSH health and safety management qualifications as a minimum?
• Do you hold a valid CCDO Card?
• Are you able to produce site health and safety documents, such as Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Construction Phase Plans etc
• Willing to travel within the UK and Europe
• Are you proficient in the use of Microsoft Office:
• MS Outlook (email)
• MS Word (document production)
• MS Excel (spreadsheets)
• Are you able to provide 3 references from your most recent employers?

We are currently looking for a site based health and safety professional, to assist our Senior Project Manager on long term demolition projects. Our current contract is based in London for a duration of approximately 6 months, following which the successful applicant will move onto another site.
You will have a positive, can do attitude, able to work as part of a team. With a sound understand-ing of demolition site, health and safety requirements, self-motivated with considerable experi-ence of health and safety management within the demolition industry.

You will manage the health and safety aspects of the job, working with subcontractors attending site, carrying out inductions, tool box talks etc, to enable to Project Manager to concentrate on the technical aspects of the project. Excellent communication and organisational skills are a must and you will also manage your own workload and paperwork.

Minimum Requirements

Possess NEBOSH General certification in Occupation Health and Safety and CCDO Card.
Be able to provide guidance on health and safety legislation with regards to demolition works.
Be able to produce high level project health and safety documentation, including Construction Phase Plans, Environmental Plans and Site Waste Management Plans.

Be able to develop risk assessments, COSHH / Welfare / First Aid / Fire, to identify risks and hazards and be able to advise on adequate control measures to ensure that the risks are brought down to an acceptable level.

Salary £45,000 to £55,000 with overtime
