About the Graduate Teaching Assistant Role
Being a member of this Department department is a great privilege and leads to some outstanding teaching. The school invests in the development of EAL pupils and you will have the latest language resources at your fingertips to improve the linguistic abilities of EAL students. You will be honing your teaching talents with the support of a SENCO who will be on hand to offer pastoral and administrative support from day one. You shall work alongside pupils who have a statement of SEN and help them reach their academic goals. Day-to-day, you will be assisting the teacher with smaller 'booster' groups and intervention 1:1s where specific points can be targeted and worked upon.
