Regional Sales Manager – UK & BENELUX. Location: London. Salary: Up to £70,000 + Benefits (Performance Bonus)!

Green Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for an Experienced, Regional Software Sales Manager. The perfect candidate will form an integral part of the software sales team for this globally established, renewable energy focused, organisation.

Overall, our client is seeking to further expand their client base, in UK and BENELUX, and in doing so wish to continue in offering their bespoke software tools and support. In fact, the bespoke software, developed in house by the client, is used by many organisations globally; across hundreds of countries, companies and sectors. As, such they require a confident, dynamic sales expert, with experience in software sales and a proactive, tenacious and autonomous approach; to assist in the further penetration of the market.

Comfortable with high levels of responsibility, being target driven and with a willingness to travel nationally and internationally, the candidate will also be comfortable with client facing and organisational tasks alike (CRM, Pipeline Management etc.) The candidate will also need proven years of experience in working within, setting/exceeding targets in, and developing, new accounts/business leads, at all levels of software sales; ideally having experience with a large business/organisation (from forecasting, to presentation, client meetings to negotiation).

Adding to this, a solid education (a bachelor’s degree or related qualifications) and technical understanding of software is vital. Furthermore, as the clients’ product/service is HSEQ and non-conformance management related SaaS, the successful candidate will be responsible for increasing the sales of their bespoke HSEQ software in various industries. Therefore, a strong and up-to-date knowledge of quality, health and safety and environmental concerns is essential too.

An ability to speak and communicate in clear English, both verbally and in written format, is essential; though further fluency in other European languages is desirable also.

• The Sales Manager will contribute to the unit’s goals for order intake, revenues, profitability, and market penetration in UK and Be-Ne-Lux by the following activities:
• Promote and sell the company’s existing software and services products by identifying and managing opportunities in targeted industries and geographies
• Successfully and professionally manage the entire sales process in accordance with company systems and policies
• Participate in sales forecasting and planning in an effective manner by
• Consistently building and delivering an accurate opportunity pipeline.
• Assisting with executing short and long-range sales and marketing plans
• Actively engage with the Sales team and other colleagues, sharing knowledge and ideas in support of profitable growth and customer success.
• Support and promote established relationships with industry and solution partners to maximize sales and sustain a leading position in the market
• Meet or exceed the revenue target for our products and identify short-term as well as long-term business opportunities
• Gather intelligence and obtain a clear and comprehensive understanding of the client's business issues and challenges
• Lead or participate in contract negotiations
• Use the CRM tool to manage and record all stages of the sales cycle
• Develop and grow relationships within the global sales team and actively collaborate and share customer intelligence and opportunities
• Participate in global sales team gatherings and sales initiatives
• Other sales and business development activities as required, in support of company strategies and goals
• Travel within Europe is part of the job.

Essential Requirements:
• A bachelor’s degree or related qualifications
• Would be an advantage to have knowledge in Risk Management, Compliance and HSEQ services
• Knowledge of DNV GL Software and Synergi Life (not required)
• Proven track record in industrial or technical sales consistently meeting or exceeding increasing sales goals. Specific experience with DNV GL Software or analysis tools in a business development environment will be considered
• Demonstrated ability to manage solution based sales at multiple levels in our customer’s organization
• Demonstrated creativity and innovation in cross functional selling with ability to present oneself in a professional manner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills to create and maintain profitable relationships with existing and potential customers
• Thorough understanding and execution of negotiating and closing in a win-win long term focused environment
• Willingness to travel within the region and internationally
• Software demonstration or continuous development of solution demonstration abilities
• Have a strong commercial mind set
