Service Desk Analyst – Bangor – 3 Months – Outside IR35

Our client, a leading Public Sector organization in Bangor currently have a new exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Desk Analyst to support the primary functions within their ICT team.

The Service Desk Analyst's duties will include:

• Acting as a single point of contact to the organisations' staff experiencing a range of technical problems.

• Act as a gateway to high level technical services, providing solutions to the majority of problems and requests at the desk.

• Take responsibility for the progress of incidents and requests from start to finish.

• Take direction from incident managers during major ICT incidents.

• Use a range of research and communication techniques to develop specialisms in areas of the ICT Service Desk

The successful Service Desk Analyst will have:

• An ITIL Foundation certification

• Degree in ICT, or equivalent experience

• Demonstrable experience of working in a professional ICT environment

• Experience of working in an ITIL environment

• Knowledge of IT processes and policies
