Delegate Sales Exec - Gaming & Finance Events (International)

Up to £25,000+ Uncapped OTE

My client has been running for over 13 years with year on year success developing a world leading series of events across finance, mobile games and HR, with established events in Boston, New York, Seattle, Berlin, London and Hong Kong. Due to expansion a role has arisen for a Delegate Sales Exec.

The role involves calling their community of delegates, finding out their needs and selling them the most appropriate package. You would work on different campaigns, meaning there is always change and variety in the team.

Objectives

  • To secure delegate and other revenue as required, for business to business conferences and events across the Gaming, HR & Finance sector. This will be achieved through contacting various hot and cold leads, including but not limited to marketing lists, canvassed business and all forms of enquiries, including web and phone.
  • To reach and where possible, exceed targets set by your manager and to achieve required minimum call rates per day and hours on the phone per day.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the business through input and opinion on all areas of the company and through feeding customer and prospective comments back to marketing and event management teams.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Proactively and collaboratively build a sales plan for each event you are working on to include data plan, key deadlines and deliverables, targets sectors and geographies, sales targets, key deliverables and deadlines.
  • Source new data sets in association with marketing to build prospect database
  • Upsell to group bookings wherever appropriate or possible.
  • Obtain and read all relevant media to establish sales leads. Research potential customers where possible.
  • Service all clients by ensuring regular contact.
  • To work with minimum supervision, as and when required

Ideally you will have 6 months + Delegate/Media/Recruitment sales experience and be looking for the next stage in your career.
