Nursery Manager:

Little Pumpkins Nursery is a fresh and dynamic company that is offering an exceptional standard of childcare located in South London. The role is for an experienced Nursery Manager or a deputy manager who is ready to step up to Nursery Manager who really wants to influence the vision and direction of the nursery. The role requires the individual to hit the ground running and take the nursery to great heights through quality and innovation. We need bags of enthusiasm and a can-do attitude for this exciting opportunity. The nursery is currently happy, with a wonderful team who work very hard for the children in their care.

Are you an experienced Deputy Manager or Nursery Manager looking for a new challenge?

The Nursery Manager responsibilities include:

- Daily running and administration, staff recruitment and ongoing training
- Leading a team of staff with delegation and by maintaining their appraisals and assessments
- Staff ratios, waiting list and ensuring the nursery is at full occupancy
- Overseeing all planning, activities, preparation and outings
- Implement and reinforce the company policies, procedures and processes
- Providing parents with information, support and communication that is required

Nursery Manager Experience & Skills Required:
- CACHE / NNEB/ NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ post qualification experience
- Minimum 2 years’ or more experience as a deputy manager or nursery manager
- Significant and recent experience of working with children aged 0 to 5 years
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Excellent staff management skills
- Exceptional knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Health & Safety legislation
- Outstanding implementation of the OFSTED standards/regulations
- Strong people management skills: Staff, Parents and Directors
- Excellent rate of pay based on experience (negotiable) £25,000 - £30,000 per year and good benefits.
