An impressive law firm in the City, with a highly regarded Intellectual Property team, now wish to appoint an administrator to provide comprehensive support to the fee earners. The firm would like to attract an A level educated or graduate with an appreciation for legal administration, who definitely has previous office administration ability.
Specifically responsibilities in this role will include-
Administrative support including preparation of reports, clerical functions, arranging conference calls and updating contact databases;
Assist with keeping all IP files up-to-date and organized. This entails saving client emails and documents electronically, including scanning documents.
Maintain calendars to include scheduling and coordinating meetings;
Liaising with clients, Fee Earners, and reception as necessary for meetings, lunches, seminars etc.
Organising Fee Earner travel arrangements via reception or making direct bookings, preparing travel itineraries, updating Fee Earner's calendar, etc.;
Answer Fee Earner phones as necessary;
Assisting with business development, including updating contact information for Fee Earners contacts,
General filing, photocopying, scanning, emailing, printing and faxing of documents;
The successful candidate has office administration experience (Word, Excel, Outlook) is keen to secure an entry level legal administration role.
