You will be a confident Science graduate who has earned a second class degree or better and is excited by starting your career as a Science Teacher. The school wants to see graduates who appreciate the challenges that teachers face but are still wanting to be positive rolemodels so they can inspire the next generation. About the Science Graduate Trainee Teacher Role
At this highly supportive Secondary School, you will be working within a close-knit and friendly Science department. As a Science Graduate Trainee Teacher you will initially be offering support to the Science department as a Teaching Assistant, before taking on more responsibility with regards to planning and delivering lessons. You will have the responsibility of working with a CPD programme and training scheme that is especially designed to give you the best start to your career as a Science Teacher. A mentor will be on-hand throughout the two year programme, to aid your development and give you crucial guidance that will increase the progress you make during this first part of your career.
