TRAINEE TECHNICAL ADMINISTRATOR - CITY - To £20,000
City based Lloyds Broker has an exciting opportunity in its Property Department. You will provide a range of support services to the Claims, Marketing and Client service teams. This is a general administration role which has provided a great starting point for the existing incumbents to progress within the business. The ideal candidate will have high energy levels, be educated to "A" level standard, and possess good communication and administration skills. Sending reports to insurers containing details of underwriting information and payments being made. Dealing with any queries arising from such reports. Provide assistance to the team in updating risks/clients on the broking system and invoicing/producing documentation required for the risks. Adding new prospects to the database and keep it updated so that emails are not sent to addresses where undeliverable. Sort the post and issue the daily pending diary. Taking minutes at the monthly new business meeting. Arrange meetings and new joiner training sessions. Booking train tickets, flights, hotels etc. Ordering stationary and business cards. Binding documents for client review meetings. Minimum requirements of at least Grade B at "A" Level in English or Maths. Willingness and ability to continue to develop through formal and informal learning, both internal and external to the company. A working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software applications. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing.
