The role will strategically lead on the development of financial strategies, planning and preparation of accounts for the Retail Division and report directly to the Director of Corporate Services. If you're a commercially focused business partner with excellent stakeholder management and want to make a difference in helping some of the UK's most vulnerable, then this could be for you!

*Lead on the development of financial strategies to support the retail team in delivering it's short, medium and long term goals
*Support senior management in developing business strategies to increase income
*Line manage the retail finance team including recruitment and performance development of staff
*Establish high standards of financial control across the retail operations
*Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic and operation decision making
*Plan and manage statutory accounts
*Financial planning and modelling
*Management of annual budget process and monthly/quarterly forecast figures.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CIPFA) with significant business partnering experience and experience in a commercial environment, preferably retail. Charity retail experience is also welcome. You will have excellent stakeholder management with the ability to deal with senior leadership, committees and trustees.
