Person Specification - SEMH/SEBD Teaching Assistant

You must be a compassionate graduate who has at least received a 2:1 in your degree and experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. We want to recruit a graduate who has the skills to spend some time helping in afterschool clubs and instil colleagues with their passion for education. The school needs a graduate who has a compassionate nature and patience with all people and a natural ability to motivate others.

About the Role - SEMH/SEBD Teaching Assistant

As a SEMH/SEBD Teaching Assistant your role will involve you supporting classes as and when needed within the KS2 phase. As a SEMH/SEBD Teaching Assistant you will be delivering lessons day-to-day with the full support of your class teacher and you will be assigned a mentor to support your professional development. Not only will you gain a wealth of experience here, but you will also learn how to be an effective member of staff.
