Finance Assistant - Accounts Payable
Your new company
My client is well recognised charity based in Central London. They are recruiting for a Finance Assistant - Accounts Payable candidate on a permanent basis.
Your new role Reporting to the Finance Officer, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the accounts payable function and the procure to pay platform. This will involve, ensuring that purchase orders are raised, reconciliation of supplier statements, assist the Finance Officer to manage the Procure to Pay platform and to ensure that the system is kept up to date. Further responsibilities include, ensuring circulation of credit card statements on monthly basis, dealing with petty cash and to cover the accounts receivable function when required.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will need previous purchase ledger experience and knowledge of VAT regulations. Knowledge of Compleat accounts payable software and Microsoft GP experience is extremely beneficial but candidates will be considered without this. Previously or currently working within the charity and not-for-profit sector. is desirable.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a generous pay package of between £25,000-£28,000 per annum on a permanent basis plus a benefits package. You will be working in a great Central London location and the role offers excellent career development opportunities.
