Company Overview - Business Development Manager

Our client are a £multi-million Managed Service Provider with multiple offices across the UK. They also sell a best of breed range of unified communications and IT services, including connectivity, voice, maintenance, as well as cloud and hosting solutions.

Business Development Manager - Required Skills / Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience selling hardware/software within a VAR
  • Good phone skills / experience of selling over the phone to end users
  • Confident with the ability to forge strong working relationships with clients
  • Ability to work to monthly GP targets in an reseller environment
  • Strong closing skills
  • Strong qualifying skills
  • Ability to prospect and identify / map out stake holders within accounts
  • Consultative sales skills
  • Ability to demonstrate targets and achievements against targets
  • End user sales experience
  • Previous experience within a reseller advantageous with examples of clients wins.
  • Driven, motivated and use to work in a fast paced sales environment

Business Development Executive - Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Daily identification, nurturing and closing of new sales opportunities within a set account base
  • Working to a Weekly / Monthly GP commit number
  • Constantly build a sustainable pipeline of both run-rate and larger, bid opportunities
  • Regularly review/analyse accounts to understand growth opportunities for new lines of business
  • Continuously engaging with our customers making them aware of suitable products and services available to meet their needs
  • Selling complete range Hardware, Software and Services
  • Cross Sell & UP Sell into accounts and look for additional streams of revenue within the account
  • Expected to Manage and Orchestrate Customer Face to face engagements
  • Work in conjunction with the Group Sales Director
