Your new company
A medium-sized, independent firm of Chartered Accountants and business advisors based in the heart of London's West End. Through organic growth and strategic acquisitions, they have grown to 15 partners, whilst retaining their passion and commitment to building strong client relationships. They have specialist departments dealing with audit and accountancy, business consulting, tax planning and compliance, as well as other specialist services. Due to growth within the team they are now looking for a newly qualified Senior to join their accounts team.

Your new role
As a member of the accounts team, you will be working within a dynamic team you will be responsible for the preparation of management accounts and statutory accounts (limited companies and LLP's), sole traders and partnerships for clients across a variety of industries. You will also handle all aspects of the client's portfolio's financial and personal affairs, as per their needs. You will prepare VAT returns for manager review and clients approval as well as regularly review work from junior team members and provide constructive feedback in a mentor like fashion.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the role you you will be newly ICAEW or ACCA qualified and have prior experience within an accountancy practice. Previous experience with software packages including Sage, Quickbooks and Caseware is a bonus as is a a basic understanding of corporation tax. In addition, you should have a 'can do' attitude and exception, effect and appropriate communication skills, both verbal and written. Finally you will have a strong ability to cope in a fast paced environment, taking responsibility for own workload and working closely with manager and wider team / firm to deliver quality work to agreed, often tight, deadlines and timescales.
