Retail Assistant Manager
Our client, a large international children's charity, are seeking an experienced team leader to inspire your team, deliver the brand vision, exceed targets and provide exceptional customer service to the Retail Channel in a Fundraising operation.
The shift leader will take responsibility for deputising for the Retail Store Manager in their absence, managing the daily operational requirements following the charity guidelines at all times, ensuring a consistent brand image with an efficient and professional delivery of service.
Based in the store, you will lead from the front, motivating, and excelling in your own performance and targets; creating a high performing team environment where staff are inspired to give the best experience, exceed expected KPI's and grow in line with the charity ethos and identity.
You will closely monitor stock levels, raise stock orders and rectify stock issues following retailer guidelines; whilst continually growing your own product knowledge and understanding of the charity's work to inspire your team and customers.
For this post, you will have experience in delivering an exceptional customer interactions and operational standards within a retail site within a Mall environment, ideally focusing on raising funds for a charity or experience within a customer focused sales operation. You will feel comfortable stopping people to talk to them about the charity, will also have a proven ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver personal and team targets. You’ll also have the ability to give clear instructions, work under pressure, as well as the ability to multi-task and solve problems.
