Outreach Support Worker

Location: Wandsworth and Lambeth
Tenure: Permanent
Salary: £18,880
Hours: 39hrs per week (Predominantly 9am – 5pm but you will be required to work some evenings and weekends)

• Are you great at building relationships with others?

• Are you committed to making a positive difference for people and helping them do the things that are important to them?
• Are you flexible and open to new ideas?
• Are you looking to work for an organisation where you really can make a difference, be appreciated for your contribution and have a rewarding career path?

As part of our Community Support team you will be joining a team which supports 40 individuals with Learning Disabilities who live independently. You will be working with people on a one to one basis both in their homes and elsewhere in the community. We work together with people to agree what support they need at the times that work best for them. As people develop and learn new skills, we adapt the support provided to ensure they continue to get the most out of life.

We aim to empower the people we support to:
· continue to live independently in their own homes
· maintain and understand their tenancies
· learn day to day living skills such as cooking, travelling safely or learning to budget
· look for work
· become involved in local communities, social activities and make friends
· give advice on other services available

Experience is not essential. We care a lot more about you as a person, than your previous work experience. If you can demonstrate that your values are in line with the values of Certitude and you have relevant transferable skills, then we would love to hear from you!
