Planning Manager - Oxford - Salary circa £55,000

My client is a leading organisation in the aviation sector and they are seeking a Planning Manager to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis.

The position of Planning Manager will work directly with Maintenance and Repair organisations (MROs) both internal and external to ensure the clients procedures are implemented to the correct standards. The Planning Manager will also be responsible for the implementation and management of long term maintenance plans and adapt plans when required. The successful candidate will be required to manage task cards in order to ensure that the task card database satisfies the customers list of work and airworthiness requirements. In order to ensure continuous airworthiness the Planning Manager will also be responsible for ensuring aircraft maintenance is carried out in accordance with the Aircraft Maintenance Programme.

To be considered candidates must have recent maintenance planning experience in the Aviation, Aerospace or Avionics industry. In addition to this candidates must have experience in a Managerial or Supervisory position and be proficient in the management of air craft maintenance requirements and implementation of maintenance planning procedures. A knowledge of Part 145 or Part M is also essential. It would be advantageous for candidates to have a working knowledge of Rusada customer processes and be a Licensed Aircraft Engineer or Graduate Engineer.

Due to the nature of the business candidates will be required to pass security checks to SC level.

The position of Planning Manager is commutable from Oxford, Swindon, Stroud, Banbury and Cheltenham.
