Service Engineer required for a growing company who are operating worldwide. The company are looking for engineers across the UK to join their team due to rapid growth. The business specialise in the installation, service and repair of weighbridges.

The role will suit electrically biased/ multi skilled Service Engineers who have experience of fault finding on sensors, digital displays and understanding customer software’s. If the candidate has experience on load cells it would be extremely beneficial! The mechanical work is basic bearing changes to ensure the range of motion is smooth and can give an accurate reading. The candidates can be from a wide range of industries including ex-forces, forklift, heavy plant and facilities maintenance.

The candidate will be based from home travelling to clients sites to carry out pre planned maintenance or attend breakdowns. The successful candidate will be paid from door to door so the hours are flexible depending on how many jobs you need to attend that day. The weighbridges can have over 40 sensors so give an accurate reading of vehicle weight, these need to be tested to regularly.

The role:

* Providing maintenance & breakdown repairs on specialist weighing equipment.

* Mechanical and electrical fault finding

* Covering a 100 mile radius

The person:

* Electrically biased/ Multi skilled engineer

* Have experience testing sensors and fault-finding on electrical systems

* Ideally hold an electrical or mechanical qualification

* Hold a full UK Driving license
