Fixed Term Contract for 12 months

They’re looking for an interim Media Manager to join their team for a period of 12 months.

They’re a high profile organisation at the heart of a number of major news stories over the last year, with a range of complex and challenging issues. This is an exciting role for an experienced Media Manager from either an in-house or agency background who is looking for an interim position.

This role has responsibility for their external media strategy and relationships. You will take responsibility for press office, media planning and engagement activity in order to help their members and levy payers understand their objectives and role and to promote and protect the companies reputation. A key part of this is managing and co-ordinating the work of the companies external PR agency. Working closely with the agency you will be the first point of contact ensuring value for money, control of costs and support and reporting needs are met.
