Principal Manager - Leading Mobile Operator - £110,000 - London

A Principal Manager is required to provide the strategic service design, technology and architecture governance across service and technology domains at one of the world's leading mobile operating providers. The role champions and applies the long term employee experience vision, solution architecture and technology roadmap.

The role will involve influencing diverse senior leaders across business functions, in order to trigger and lead a digital transformation program. In addition, a strong technical understanding, with the ability to express and communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Essential skills, experience and knowledge:

• Drive the strategic linkage between business function demand and commensurate service design, enterprise architecture and technology roadmap. Enable the enterprise through design of flexible, adaptive, scalable, and cost-effective solution architectures.

• Accountable to provide thought leadership and cross-company engagement on best practices for architectural design. Own the solution stack in alignment with the broader customer facing architecture.

• Lead employee communications and adoption blueprints. Ensure that employee digital capabilities, plans and blueprints are communicated and engaged at both the market and employee levels.

• Extensive experience with business information systems integration or custom business application design and development in a professional technology consulting, corporate MIS or software development environment.

• Broad and general technical knowledge across enterprise workplace solutions, along with deep competencies in areas such as enterprise architecture, IT infrastructure and data modelling.

• Business analysis and business process understanding through critical thinking, problem solving, design thinking. Requires good understanding of service design and UX principles and their application.

• Stakeholder management and presentation / business case articulation across a broad spectrum, including ‘C-level' level staff. Engagement and leadership are key skills for this role at the employee, team, market and decision maker levels.

• Must possess an in depth understanding of Digital Workplace capabilities. Includes workstyle trends, market, vendor and technology directions
