Our Energy Solutions business focuses on helping businesses achieve significant reductions in their buildings’ energy consumption through Building Management Systems and remote support via our Energy Management Centre. To achieve our key business objectives we have an opportunity for a Project Sales Engineer to join our projects team.

You will be tasked with proactively identifying and contacting new clients, cultivating and managing long-term relationships to build a partnering relationships with them. This will involve understanding their business, operational and environmental objectives. Utilising your industry experience in energy management you will be able to share your knowledge and operations expertise with the client to ensure you are able to match the solution to their operational requirement and refer any further requirement to other businesses within the group as required.

Managing multiple, ongoing projects you will focus on selling new projects and retrofits differentiating SSE services and products from competitors based on business benefits.

To be successful in this role you will be educated to a minimum of HNC in an engineering related discipline and have previous HVAC Building Management Systems experience. With a determination to grow our business you will enjoy proactively contacting new clients and be comfortable presenting them with solutions to their BMS requirements. You will be target and deadline driven due to the nature of the project environment you will be working in.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be some of your key assets along with the ability to build, nurture and maintain strong relationships with your clients.

As you will be traveling to different sites its essential that you hold a full driving licence.
