My client is the next generation communications service provider exclusively focused on Central London. The company provides affordable ultra-fast (up to 10Gbps) fibre connectivity to businesses. They are building their own 'Fibre to the Premises’ (FTTP) fibre optic network directly into premises across the Capital. The technology is future proofed, the business is hugely successful, VC backed and led by respected telecoms industry senior executives. They are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help expand their client base. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy to achieve your sales targets. The primary role of the Business Manager is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling or other means of generating interest from potential clients. You must then plan pitches that will convince potential clients to do business. You must develop a rapport with new clients to enable a successful sales dialogue.
Strategic sales planning is a key part of this job description, since it is the business manager’s responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming into the company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the company’s competitors.
The Business Manager will be responsible for; New Business Development, Client Retention and Business Development Planning.
