The client is looking for a Graduate Product Controller with experience in the financial services sector to join their growing global team.

The successful product controller will sit within the product control department and rotate around the following areas of the department on a periodic basis:

Controlling role

  • Production of the Daily P&L, including analysis and explanation
  • Balance sheet validation ensuring completeness, accuracy & integrity of the ledger
  • Assisting in daily Risk reporting, through back testing sign off
  • Liaison with Front Office and support functions

Valuation Role

  • Daily / monthly independent price and input parameter verification
  • Liaison with Front Office and support functions
  • Ad hoc projects.

MI role

  • Extensive liaison with colleagues from Product Controller, other Finance functions, IT and Operations staff, both in London and across the international operation
  • Liaise with the Middle Office IT team on daily reporting issues, as well as other source systems which impact Product Control activities,
  • Responsible for daily and monthly MI and central controls, including the performance and distribution of a number of key reconciliations, being a central control hub for collation and distribution of data to Controllers and Managers,
  • Aid to develop and maintain the Product Control KRI framework.

Data control role

  • Configuring the system for Independent Price Verification and Provisioning on a regular basis.
  • Implementing business requirements from the Business and Product Control.
  • Responsible for assisting in collating and writing requirements for the development and improvement of the system.



  • Relevant work experience within financial services


  • Degree Education from first or second tier university,
  • Studying or prepared to study for professional Finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CFA)
