Assistant IT Manager (ITIL, Exchange, Citrix, SQL) - Central London - up to £50,000

The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a well-known professional services firm to help in their search for an Assistant IT Manager.

The successful individual must have worked in an enterprise Windows Server environment and be capable of server, desktop, application, hardware and networking support.

Along with motivating and managing the team on a day to day basis, you will act as the main escalation point for 1st - 3rd Line support issues and you will be required to identify areas that you can make improvements to processes and procedures and to implement these.

Previous Team Leadership experience is essential to be considered for this position but please note this is a hands-on technical role as well.

* PC, laptop and printer set-up and troubleshooting
* MS Office support

Being a corporate environment, you can expect it to be busy and highly professional - excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Experience within a professional services environment is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline i.e. Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems or Mathematics.

This is a permanent role with a basic salary of £40-50,000 per annum dependent on depth of relevant skills and experience plus substantial benefits.
