Accounts Payable Clerk
Age UK are recruiting an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team. You will process all transactions that fall within the remit of the AP Function, following company procedures with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ensure invoice and non invoiced payments requests (such as grants and expenses) are processed accurately and efficiently in the accordance with the AP timetable and control procedures.
Maintain and update supplier records and carry out Supplier reconciliations.
Input all payment journals on from the bank statement daily
Operate RBS Bankline, setting up beneficiaries and payments, do downloads and enquiries.
Deal with any external or internal payment queries, liaising with relevant departments, suppliers and/or the bank as necessary to resolve any issues.

Payment processing experience in a high volume multi-location organisation.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office, particularly Excel & Word.
Knowledge & understanding of Navision Accountancy Software desirable but not essential as training will be given.
Fast and accurate keyboard skills.
Good communication skills with an ability to build relationships and work effectively with a wide range of people.
Sound administrative and organisation skills with an ability to prioritise and organise own workload.
This role is for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
