A career opportunity for an enthusiastic and technically excellent Graduate Structural Engineer exists within this small/medium practice based in South East London. You should be a graduate with some years of working experience in a structural design practice to be considered for this role. They are near main line overground and tube station. They work on architecturally challenging projects and pride themselves on their innovative thinking. The work environment is a relaxed, open plan space to encourage creative thinking.
You must have a passion for architecturally challenging buildings design and excellent communication skills. This is a role for a dynamic individual.
Their work covers mixed use, commercial, residential, retail and schools projects, both new build and refurbishment. You will work within a structures team on high profile and complex new build and refurbishment building structures, using the most up to date analysis tools. You will be given excellent training and support for Chartership. The firm work in all the main materials and also structural glass.
You must have a good degree (2.1 or 1st class MEng only) from a reputable UK University and high level A Level grades. Applicants should have some years buildings design experience, ideally within a UK structural engineering practice. You must be passionate about buildings structures design. You must have the full right to work indefinitely in the UK. An outgoing personality and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are also essential. The role will include some autocad work so you must be able to use autocad.
Excellent training for Chartership will be provided.
