This role is offered as a permanent position. Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience.

In this role you will be looking after an IT Portfolio. You will have a line management experience, ideally in Project / Programme Management or Governance. Candidates with previous Project Administrator / Project Assurance experience are especially encouraged to apply.

As Portfolio Delivery Lead you will:

  • Ensure that there is a comprehensive view of the delivery portfolio, resource allocation and forecast
  • Actively manage the resourcing to identify resource bottlenecks
  • Actively manage the project assurance to ensure that there are plans in place to move projects from red and amber to green
  • Responsible for ensuring that projects and programmes are adhering to governance processes, templates and income requirements
  • Provide leadership and guidance to allocated PMO analysts

Knowledge and skills:

You will have:

  • Good understanding of Project Management processes, tools and templates
  • Able to build relationships at all levels from the CIO through to all members of the team

Experience:

You will have:

  • Proven experience working in a PMO or Project Delivery function with experience in a similar role in a blue-chip organisation (min 2 years)
  • Knowledge and experience of project assurance, quality processes and procedures
  • Held responsibility for managing a PMO
  • Proven relationship management working across teams
  • Commercial and Customer Focus

Qualifications:

  • A good understanding of Programme and Project Management Methodologies, PRINCE 2 or MSP Practitioner Qualified
  • Qualified to an ITIL Foundation level
