This is a community SEN school that offers education for residential as well as day students with high functioning children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Although they still have a number of students with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties (BESD). These difficulties may manifest themselves in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD). Person Specification for SEN Teaching Assistant
For this SEN Teaching Assistant post, you must be a dedicated graduate who has an impressive academic record and a 2:1 or better in your degree and experience supporting SEN children. You will be a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant who can efficiently deal with any obstacles to learning and inspire pupils with your enthusiasm. You should be able to maintain a caring approach at all times and evidence a desire to contribute in extra-curricular activities.
