Assistant Shop Manager – West London (Wembley, Ealing, Acton) - Basic £17-20k + Overtime – Full Time

The Assistant Manager Role

As an Assistant Manager, you will deliver excellent customer service to all our customers and provide a warm friendly gaming and betting environment. You will be responsible for managing and training more junior staff and assume full responsibility for the shop in the absence of the manager. You will be expected to build a strong and lasting relationships with customers, creating a fun environment which punters love and come back to. The successful candidate will work with the shop manager to create the best betting shop environment, ensuring that the shop team work to a high standard together, giving them regular guidance and feedback. You will also have a responsibility to make sure the shop complies with its Think 21 and Responsible Gambling commitments. Additionally, you will gather customer feedback and comments, so improvements can be made to better their experience.

Key responsibilities, skills and attitudes

  • Previous experience within a betting shop / retail / duty manager role
  • Excellent customer service skills and commercial understanding
  • Proactive, ambitious and focussed on their shop’s goals and objectives
  • Team player who is prepared to go the extra mile and act as a  ambassador of our company
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Calm and collected whilst encouraging the team 


  • Up to £17,000-20,000 per annum
  • Bonus scheme of up to £500 every 6 months dependent on shop performance
  • 28 days paid holiday (pro rata)
