School Attendance Officer - Medway
Salary: £18,000-£23,000 Term time + 5 days training + 10/15 days during Summer break
We are currently working with a school in the Rochester area to appoint a committed SchoolAttendance Officer to take a lead in this role exciting role.
The position will be new within the school and therefore will require someone with sound knowledge and understanding of the role of a School Attendance Officer.
Working as part of the inclusion team as well as liaising with the SENCO and Head of school. Spotting and reporting trends of absence.
The chosen candidate must have experience of working with SIMS as the school are looking for someone who can set up the attendance systems required for the school.
You must also have an ability to use Excel to produce graphs and figures to be used by the Headteacher and Governors etc.
Responsibilities including organising meetings, sending letters to outside agencies, logging information, working with CAMS etc.
The school can offer a training course to the successful School Attendance Officer but to have some understanding on the role is ideal.
This position is full-time to start in September 2017
