We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced and skilled Deputy Manager ( RGN / RMN/ RNLD ) to join a beautiful nursing home based on the outskirts of Plymouth. This purpose- built nursing home is ideally situated on the outskirts of Plymouth in-between Mount Batten and Brixton. This warm and friendly nursing home boasts excellent facilities including a beautifully furnished lounged, home cooked food and picturesque private gardens for the residents to relax and unwind. This care home has been specifically designed with the residents' needs in mind; they have spacious en-suite bedrooms and assisted bathing and shower rooms. The Home Manager is looking for a passionate Deputy Manager (RGN/ RMN/ RNLD) to join their friendly team of staff.
This bright and homely service provides palliative, nursing, dementia care and convalescent care for elderly residents and those with dementia. Staff morale is very high and there is a very welcoming atmosphere to the home. The service has achieved an excellent reputation and achieved a good CQC report, so this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-run, quality home and make a real difference to the patients' lives.
The home manager is looking for an experienced Deputy Manager (RGN/ RMN/ RNLD) to work closely alongside them ensuring the smooth running of the service. This involves forming strong relationships with the staff, residents and their families and assisting with the leadership of healthcare professionals.
Person Specification: We are looking for a qualified Nurse (RGN or RMN all considered). Previous leadership experience is essential for this role and experience within a similar setting is highly desirable. You must hold a valid Nursing Pin and have an active registration with the NMC and be eligible to work in the UK.
