Event Sales Manager for Historical Venue in St Albans up to £30,000

THE VENUE

A unique venue with beautiful event spaces offering breath-taking history.

We are looking to recruit a passionate Event Sales Manager to join a fun busy team.

The role objective is to be responsible for growing the business year round at this accommodating venue, both reactively and proactively, to retain and develop our existing database of clients and maximise profits.

I am looking to speak with a highly motivated, self-starter with an ability to think creatively and have a positive approach to problem-solving.

KEY FOCUSES

  • The organisation and management of all private hires for the venue

  • Develop a venue hires promotional strategy

  • Run & attend all private event hires

  • Actively cultivate a relationship with current business partners regarding possible hires

  • Oversee the production and distribution of all promotional printed material

  • Set-up promotional and showcasing events for the venue

  • Operate to annual venue hire income and expenditure budgets and targets

  • Analyse hire figures, interpret trends and forecast future hire volumes in order to maximise profits

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Educated in Business, Sales, Hospitality, Catering or related subject

  • Confident sales-driven person with good attention to detail and strong financial acumen

  • High standards, great attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude

  • Experience in events and high profile London venues

  • Proven sales, negotiation and persuasive skills

  • Self-motivated with a desire to surpass targets
